Ruth Evans came to teach English at Pahokee High School fresh from college. Soon, she married Frank Handley when he finished Veterinarian School at the Univ. of Florida and they moved to Sebring. But she has enjoyed a loving relationship since then with the Class of 1951. She penned the following shortly afer Mel Tillis's death.
